Help me with a band name

The recent post about the Raconteurs jogged my memory and I can only partially remember the name of the group and lyrics to the song. Oddly enough, it's a Christmas song and the band is a husband-wife team. The reason the Raconteurs jogged my memory is because that band's name also ends in "teurs", at least that's what I remember. The song used to be played on a lot of commercials.

fwiw, I don't think those two were ever married. I always used to get them confused with the Rancoteurs too, even though their music is alot different.
The Raveonettes "Pretty in Black" is a good album, IMO.

Back in high school I was in a thrash band called "Dow Jones and the Wall Street Industrialists". The label that wanted to sign us said we had to change the name because it wasn't marketable so, we told 'em to go screw and now I'm a loan officer. Oh we'll...

Husband-wife team would be the bubblegum group The Ting Tings. They don't sound anything like the Raconteurs or the Raveonettes. On top of that, all three groups hail from different countries.

Yeah, a definite 50s/60s influence in their music. I saw them a few years ago. They kinda reminded me of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, and both bands actually toured together last year, but didn't come to the US unfortunately.

I thought this thread was going to be about helping someone pick a band name. I got excited because I was going to suggest "Davey and the Stink Nuggets."

Back in HS I wanted to start a band called The Emetics, not because I play an instrument or have any interest in music but because I like a good joke. And now I find out that there is a Welsh girl's punk band by that name. Dammit.
