VP Dick Cheney for Pres?

Why doesn't VP Dick Cheney run for pres? He's more qualified than anybody, ever, to do the job. He has experience going back to the 60s for Pete's sake! Look, he may not have been a crowd-pleaser, but this man is responsible for our safety, the safety of our allies, and the expansion of American territory/empire/interests. He's the "tough love" kidna guy. Anybody else have thoughts on why Cheney decided to not run?

Cheney has said from the very beginings he had no interest in being President. He got in, made the money and will go out with a lucrative career in, oh never mind.

And what's the deal with her husband? He's a Billy Carter if I ever have seen one.

All sorts of fun stories waiting to be told, I'm sure. We've already been treated to family tales of shooting moose without a permit, tasering 10 year olds, and drinking beer in the squad car. Oh yeah, she is ready for prime time!

Five draft deferments, Halliburton, The CIA Leak scandal, his hunting accident, his lead role in the Iraq mess, the abrogation of FISA and FOIA, his history of heart disease, his association with the Bush administration.... the list goes on...

There's no way the Republicans would want this guy to run.... WAY too much baggage.

It'd be a freakin' field day for the Dems if Dick ran for prez!
