Zicam Cold Remedy

Have any of you ever used Zicam Cold Remedy quick release tablets? I've had a really bad cold all week and used them for about 5 days. I haven't been able to taste anything since I started taking them. At first I thought it was due to me being sick, but now the cold is all but gone and I still can't taste anything. It's bizarre. Coffee, water, dorritos, cheerios all taste the exact same...like nothing. Online I read that the Zicam nasal spray has been recalled because it made people lose their sense of smell permanently. Anyone ever use these before and have a similar reaction?

Sorry but Zicam does not work.
We at TJ only wish we could find the cure to the commen cold.
I only wish I could find a Penny to my Sheldon. Sheldon is a god like myth.
We really do like girls. Just not Asian ones.

Never used the nasal spray, but the cold remedy did the same thing to my sense of taste. Zinc is the primary ingrediant in Zicam. Ironically it is supposed to improve taste bud performance. Maybe too much zinc? Give it a few weeks off Zicam and if it doesn't improve go see your doctor.

When Zicam first came out there was one kind and you swabbed your nostrils and it worked great if you caught it early enough.
I recommend Airborne(dissolves like alka seltzer) and Cold Ease(cherry losenges)
Both taste absolutely diabolical but they work for me every time.

Itchy, how long did it take you before you could taste anything? It's a little bit better today, but still feels like my ability to taste is only 20% of what it should be.

If you go to TJ then I must assume that you are Asian since the majority of TJ students are Asian. Congrats on making it in one of the prestigious HS in the country. Now as far as your girl problem, well, again if you're Asian then that means you have a small pecker. All the brains in the World will not make up for a small pecker. Girls want to get their World ROCKED and ROCKED HARD!!!! It's best that you stay with the Asian ladies since they have small vaginas. At least with an Asian lady you know she will take good care of her body and not let it balloon out to an enormous size like the American women do.
