The Fairfax County Police Department is looking for an 18-year-old woman who disappeared during a Tuesday appointment in Falls Church.
A release from the department on Thursday asks the public's help in finding Anna Pilger, of Vienna, who was apparently at an appointment around 1 p.m. Tuesday in the 2900 block of Sleepy Hollow Road in Falls Church when she fled.
She disappeared into the woods near Castle and Nicholson roads, police said.

Pilger appears to be a senior at James Madison High School; the school's website lists her on the Fall 2012 roster for the cheerleading team.
The teen has been without her prescribed medication for about 48 hours, which has given family members and police concern for her health and welfare, they say — her behavior might seem erratic to those that come into contact with her.
The last contact with Pilger appears to have been a call from a pay phone in Washington, DC. It's not clear when that call was placed.
Pilger is around 5-foot-4 with brown hair and brown eyes. She weighs around 100 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a gray sweat pants with a green "Fisher" logo on both pant legs and a white t-shirt.
