Marc Cuban lost his mind again. Draft a woman in the NBA?

Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Maverics has suggested that he would draft Brittney Griner in the second round if she is the "best player available". Looking at her stats, it's clear that she's dominated her level but Big 12 Women's teams aren't going to prepare her for the NBA.

According to Wikipedia, she's 6-8, 208lbs. Of course, she plays center, which is not gonna happen at the NBA level. She'd have to move to a 3/small-forward slot which means that she'd have to relearn her whole game.

In Cuban's defense Dallas is about 100 miles north of Baylor (where she played college) and he has always been somebody who likes the spotlight so we'll see.

Me thinks she should stick with the WNBA.

Michael Jordan got cut from his highschool basketball team. Beethoven was deaf. Albert Einstein flunked third grade.

She could play in the NBA if she wants to. There are probably 20-30 women in the WNBA that could.

What do these trivia facts have to do with the price of eggs? I mean, shit, I saw a guy with no legs playing basketball. So what?
