It's the number of posts made each hour on Fairfax Underground as a polar bar chart. The low number of posts was 0, from 2:00 to 3:00 AM, and the high number of posts was 43 from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. 508 posts in total were made.

this is very nice. if you could change the time to 12hour and do a line graph that would be awesome and make things much easier to read. you do do this for today as well. see how many posts on easter.

The polar graph is cool but possibly misleading because, even though midnight is at the top etc, this type of graph assumes adjacent datapoints are related - and the "two midnights" are not; linear would be better. 24 hour time, however, is a win from MY HO.

It will look about the same every day on a site with a mostly limited geographic audience like this.
You start out with sleep time for the East Coast 1:00 to 6:00 am.
Then you get the early birds before work.
There's an increasing number of people during the day, drops off a little for lunch, then picks up again with people screwing off toward the end of the work day.
Drops off a cliff when they leave work and are eating dinner.
Picks up again in the evening until they start going to sleep again.
