I sell door to door. No its not fun but I'm working. My meat truck work is fairly popular, but n Fairfax its either the police or some crazy white man in every neighbor hood? Black, door to door, racism?

Are you black? White people dont like random black people selling rotten, over priced food door to door. They believe you are either there to rob them or casing the joint to come back later and rob them.

Last summer some suspicious looking black guys were trying to sell frozen fish in my neighborhood. They were very aggressive and would not take no for an answer. Several people called the cops and they hauled ass.

Yeah I'm black but Prince William Arlington rare is it a problem. Fairfax or IRS white ppl must be suspicious or racists not sure which one.

I hate having strangers show up at my door. They're either trying to sell me something or convert me. Either way, I'm not interested. As a woman, I never open the door to a stranger. So then I have to engage in some kind of weird pantomime through the door sidelight to get them to go away.

To your question...unless you look and act like you just came from the hood, I don't think people really care that you're black. We just want you to go away.

The only thing I can think is that Fairfax has more white collar people than a more blue collar area like Prince William, where they might be more receptive to a guy who's just trying to make a buck. Also, many if not most people in Fairfax come from all over the place, including the Northern states which are not known for their warmth. PG people are probably more Southern (although I'm not sure that necessarily works in your favor). Just some thoughts.

Yeah..exactly what "Racism" are you experiencing exactly?

Overusing the term racism dilutes the true meaning.

If you cry it out for every percieved affront you endure , the word goes unheard when true racism really occurs.

Sometimes, you may be hated because you're an asshole. It happens.

Always a white man though. Every time in Fairfax be working just a street or two chased away no sales allowed here. Complete bs just trying to make a dollar white males on a power trip.

You could have the complexion of fresh snow, if you don't have the 100K+ salary, the right car, the cargo pants, those little fucking glasses and a designer baseball cap , you might as well be black, you'll be shunned if your not one of the boys.

And notice to all blacks. You know how those liberal whites are nice to your face? They still don't want you marrying their daughters and they use the word "nigger" exclusively behind your back.

In general that appears to be the case.

I've encountered some notable exceptions and the women are beautiful, but for the most part, they have a total lack of courtesy and social grace.

Don't even get me started on their driving.

The guys came to my house I told them no thanks I dont buy fish out of the back of a random truck. When they wouldnt fucking leave and kept trying to make a deal with me I told them to fuck off.
