How far behind Modern Times Are Republicans? 10? 50 years?

So I was trying to figure out how far behind modern times the average republican is.

Average republican:
1) Still reads newpapers
2) Doesn't own a smartphone.
3) Drives a gas guzzler.
4) Protects his land with a gun.
5) Thinks oil is the solution to an energy crisis.
6) Believes in creationism.
7) Thinks gays and lesbians are freaks of nature.
8) Thinks we need more wars to solves problems with foot soldiers in invasions.
9) Can't stand solar or electricity.

Republicans have strange ideas like:

you should be able to keep most of what you earn

you and not the government should raise your kids

you decide if you want a 16 ounce coke not the government

you are responsible for your actions not society

people earning $80,000 a year should not get food stamps

people in section 8 housing should not live better than the taxpayers funding it

a danish made to look like a gun is not a danger to society

You should try it sometime. You might not come across as so misinformed and moronic.

Oh, and I was in Jim Moran's office the other day. He had about 5 or 6 newspapers to choose from.

> 2) Doesn't own a smartphone.

Nope, not so much. But we know your kind love their "Obamaphones." Not really sure why a smart phone would be nicknamed an Obamaphone given all the evidence to the contrary, but it is not for me to figure out the mind of this woman...

> 3) Drives a gas guzzler.

Drives the economy is more like it.

> 4) Protects his land with a gun.

And his life. Democrats use a gun to protect their drug supply.

> 5) Thinks oil is the solution to an energy

Democrats think drilling for oil is an energy crisis.

> 6) Believes in creationism.

Some do. But then again, some Democrats believe in Buddha. In degrees of silliness, does it really matter?

> 7) Thinks gays and lesbians are freaks of nature.

Are you claiming it is in a species natural interest and instinct to engage exclusively in non-reproductive intercourse?

> 8) Thinks we need more wars to solves problems
> with foot soldiers in invasions.

Democrats think that if we do nothing, everyone will leave us alone.

> 9) Can't stand solar or electricity.

Republicans don't like electricity? That's stupid, even for you.

Republicans don't give a shit if you want to go buy some photovoltaic shingles for your home, just don't ask your neighbor to pay for them.

10) Democrats think they are more intelligent, but whenever they open their mouths, they prove otherwise.

How far behind the times are you attacking the party the you don't agree with?

"Great minds discuss ideas, Average minds discuss events, Small minds discuss people."
-Eleanor Roosevelt

In my late 20s and disgusted by the people around me who call themselves "adults". Every lesson you teach your children goes right out the door when it comes to politics. And people wonder why things are so bad ffs.

I was thinking 20. Even though republicans are out of touch and are dying off at a rate of hundreds per day the two party system is good for America. As much as I hate the way they think I am a little worried as there is no end in sight for their demise.

Believe in buddha? Buddha was a person you idiot, that's like saying you don't believe jesus was a person. It's one thing to not believe in teachings of either of them, but to say he didnt exist is ignorant... not shocking coming from a republican like you who knows nothing yet thinks they know everything.

Must suck to live in this socialist hell hole and make money off of the federal government and then be a hypocritical little bitch huh?

PS for the past two centuries many scholars and theologians have debated whether jesus himself spent time in India during his missing years considering that many of his teachings actually reflect Buddhist teachings at the time which were unknown in Judea. I personally doubt he ventured 5000 miles to India, but the fact that there are so many parallels, and yet you mock one while likely are "devout" to the other, and I say that in quotes because you are likely one of the worst people known to man, is idiotic.

Maybe open up your mind you ignorant cunt

Don't expect republicans to understand concepts different from what they believe.

I had a republican try to explain the Jewish religion to me and I couldn't believe some of the wild ideas.
