i have to go up there for a party soon and figured i would probably waste some money in the video poker machines.

does anyone happen to know where i can find out exactly what kind of machines they have and what the pay tables are?

I was there back in May. There are very few vid poker machines, and the ones I found were those video slot machines that have a a few versions of poker built in. The odds were terrible, I think the payout was 7/4 on JOB. I was disappointed. There restaurant was equally disappointing.

You'll have a good time if you're with friends, just lose any Vegas-like expectations before you get there. The casino is actually pretty nice (and gigantic). I'm not sure how much drinks are, I was there in the morning and early afternoon and wasn't in the mood to drink. They seem to be well-staffed and the cocktail waitresses seemed pretty attentive, I'm sure you can get a bunch of drinks comped as long as you're playing and tip them a buck or two.

Have fun. Even though I was underwhelmed I'd go back anytime with friends.

Skip the slots and head straight for the ponies.

Yeah, the track & race book look nice. They only race in the evenings though, so I didn't get to see it in action.

While we're on the subject, are there any OTB's at all in NoVA? I'm not a big fan of horse racing, but I've been to some nice OTB's in PA, and it's always a fun time spending an evening eating, drinking, and gambling on horses. I don't know of any within the county, I'm guessing it's against the law?

A normal night has nine races in about 4 hours.
