Serious question- What would you do

Im going to try to make this as simple as possible-

A person I know invested X amount of dollars in a product per my recomendation.

He needed my help to sell the product.

He asked me (verbally) if he was to buy the product and after the initial investment we would split the proceeding profits in half.

One month later after much back breaking work the profits were 5 times the investment after storing the product at my house, packaging and shipping.

X amount was paid to me 3 weeks ago and several thousand is still owed

I now find out he had re-invested the total amount of product for his benifit on products he is unable to sell.

He does not recognize why Im a tad bit upset with him when he tells me he cant pay me when the money has been spent on other product not pertaining to our agreement because he thought they would be quick sellers.

Others had overheard the verbal agreement and I still have x amount of the product at my house.

From a legal stand point what would you do? Should I leave the products at his doorstemp and wipe my hands clean and later sue?

Maybe you could take the other party to small claims court and bring your witnesses. Wouldn't cost much but your time.

As for the products that you still possess, I'd just hold onto them until a resolution is reached.

Let me fix this . at one time I was investing in this women we will call her "y" . After spending much time & resources I wanted to inject my penis which I will refer to as "p". Then I found out that she was getting injected by a strap on "p" from another "y". Reverse for more accuracy ......

Horse head in the bed makes a good statement and usually expedites payment. It works for me around collection time. I'd use a camel's head if your friend is Middle Eastern.

I bore very very quickly when people speak of X amount and Product A etc.

Make the post at least colorful and interesting.

My advice is to set your hair on fire and sing "Ghostbusters"
