BETHESDA, Md. - The teenager in custody after firearms and chemicals were found in his Bethesda home allegedly had two fake government IDs and a map of a presidential motorcade.

Prosecutors say 18-year-old Colin McKenzie-Gude had identification that made it look like he was a CIA employee. The second fake ID identified him as Michael Landry, a U.S. contractor with protections from the Geneva Conventions.

McKenzie-Gude also had a map of Camp David with a presidential motorcade route, according to prosecutors.

Montgomery County State's Attorney John McCarthy says the CIA, FBI and Secret Service are investigating.

McKenzie-Gude has been charged with five counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a minor, possession of a destructive device, and possession of explosive material.

He has also been accused of an attempted carjacking. Police say the teenager tried to steal a car from a man at the White Flint Mall shortly before his home was searched.

Police say along with guns and explosive materials, the teen had a list of names and addresses of his former teachers at St. Johns College High School.

Steven Kupferberg, McKenzie-Gude's attorney, says his client had no intention of harming anyone.

A warrant had been issued for McKenzie-Gude's arrest after police searched his home on Rockhurst Road and seized five illegally possessed assault rifles, a handgun and ammunition on Tuesday afternoon.

Police also found chemicals and materials used to make homemade explosives.

McKenzie-Gude is a 2008 graduate of St. John's College High School in Northwest.

It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to possess certain firearms in Maryland.

Police say Colin's father, 62-year-old Joseph Lane Gude, bought the firearms for his son. He also faces charges.

I wonder if he threatened to take those guns away as punishment for the carjacking arrest? Or did he just ground him like most parents do?

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Since Maryland is the Free State referenced directly in the ammendment - he should get a pass.
