How does a MeepthePeep type poster evolve?

That’s my question. And, what steps could be taken to correct this problem.

Obviously, the threat of “ban” has lost its impact. Some regulars suggest “ignore”, which can work to neutralize a single issue, but, clearly FU has multiple challenges. Might a better approach be, to not antagonize posters in the first place so as to avoid creating pissed off posters?

Generally posters start here with no attitude. No personal grudge against anyone. TheMeeper seems to one handedly create more animosity with posters, anon and registered, than all the regulars combined. Why?

TheMeeper is like a mosquito. Just want to swat it because its annoying. Does TheMeeper ever laugh?

The "MeepThePeep type" is like a terrorist. Do we placate or appease these people in hopes that they stop being douche bags? Or do we go about our daily lives, doing what we do, what we like to do, until the "MeepThePeep" type get the hint that we don't give a fuck what they do and they eventually leave on their own. That seems to be a process that has worked.

I, for one, could give a fuck what this asshole thinks. Obviously his ego is so fucking fragile that he can't withstand an attack on an anonymous ID. That, to me, indicates some sort of psychosis that no amount of appeasement will resolve.

So MeepThePeep, or WashingtonLocian or Cleaner or whatever you are calling yourself at the moment...go fuck yourself. We are going to continue doing what we do. If you don't like it, leave. Otherwise, expect the bitch-slapping to continue.

I don't find that to be generally true... usually those who get attention are getting it because they posted something dumb or offensive. Do you have examples of a totally unprovoked flame from any regulars here?

Cary,

Why are all the lame posts MeeperThePeeper posted late last night (making fun of Meeper) all of a sudden gone already?

Because MeeperThePeeper contributed nothing of interest to anyone but himself.

I've said it before, and will say it again, stop engaging these people (in any form).

Just ignore them and let them flame out. The first thing they'll do is to start to respond to their own posts to make it look like people still give a damn, but if no one "real" eventually takes the bait, they'll just leave.

It amazes me that forum regulars still talk to these dorks.

If they were posted in the Fairfax forum (they were) then it is totally within the site guidelines. Post flames and non-Fairfax crap in the Fairfax forum and it will be moderated. Post it in Off-Topic and it generally will not be.

You my friend are retarded. It is moronic liberal logic like this that has lead to the infestation of illegal immigration in our country. Just do you, there not hurting you, oh no don't mind the man behind the curtain costing you millions. Like the illegal’s I say deport this A hole. He contributes nothing to this site. Let us just have Washingtonefagiton write for him, they are saying the same thing at mostly the same time anyway.
