Which is worse?
They both spend more time spreading their gospel more than learning it themselves, they both are insular and paranoid, and they both see patriotism as contradictory to their beliefs.

Yeah, I knew three Mormons when I was in the Army. They join because it counts as their mandatory missionary call. Instead of riding around in the suburbs on bicycles, they proselytize to servicemen.

JW are the worst, they dont leave when you tell them to beat it.
I messed with two mormons for a bit by telling them I had all sorts of problems. They mowed my lawn, cleaned my gutters, mulched, painted and a few other odd jobs around the house for a few weeks. The worst thing they did was split 8 cord of wood mid summer while I was in my house drinking ice cold beer with my pals looking out the window snickering. I then broke the news to them confession style my intentions were to use them as labor. They took it rather well. I felt bad after the fact and tried to pay them but they would not take the money. I ended up making a donation to the LDS. Poor kids LMAO.

All the time, and they're told to steer clear of them. Good to know this as all you have to say is 'I'm a Jehovah's witness' and they'll apologize, leave, and never darken your door again.
They're generally decent folk just trying to do a job, and from their perspective, they're trying to help you. One part of the missionary experience seems to be to show them that the 'outside world' will never really accept them so if you want to do your part for mother church, by all means be a colossal dick to them.

A couple days before the last election, I saw 2 white shirt, black tie, dark trousers, backpack toting, name badge wearing, future residents of Planet Kolab, walking around a parking lot shopping center.
Since the election was a mere couple days away, as we crossed paths I smiled and said "Vote Obama!".

Mormons can still get in after they die, unless they go to hell first. They have a giant mural in the Silver Spring cathedral which depicts the sinners being cast into hell. Apparently, one of the figures in the painting is the ex-wife of the guy who did the mural.

A friend of mine got a visit by some non-denominational dorks and snookered her into going to one one of their services. The crappy worship music kicked in at high volume and they all started jumping up and down and acting the fool, which was definitely NOT her thing. When she bailed, a few of them came running after her and tried to convince her to stay, but she politely refused.
They kept coming to her door to get her to go back until they made the mistake of knocking while I happened to be visiting. The 2 stoner looking dudes seemed taken back by me answering the door. I looked at them with a demented look on my face and growled in my low Satanic voice, "Get the FUCK out or I will destroy you!"
The look on their faces was priceless. They beat feet and never bothered her again. A few years later, I read that the Pastor was fucking young girls at the church and his wife caught him and told the whole congregation about it.
