What an ass! How do you not see someone who is "splayed across" your windshield? The fucker was probably screwing around with his Blackberry, realized he hit something (maybe he thought it was a car, since he wasn't looking up), and tried to get away.

Thank God for people like the bicyclist who had some human decency, unlike Robert "At Least He's Not Dead" Novak. Novak might want to work on his empathy a bit before the lawsuit hits.

I am quite surprised that he is not being charged with leaving the scene of an accident, let alone felony hit-and-run....

That's absurd that he is just being charged with failing to yield right of way. If he were a black guy in a Nissan, what do you think would have happened to him?

Depending on where the tumor is, that could absolutely explain it. It could be similar to an epileptic episode.

I agree, though. I think he is a douche bag, but that doesn't mean I want to see the guy kick-off.

He hit an elderly man who was splayed across his windshield. Then kept driving while sipping his double mocha frappa-machiatto 1/2 caff no whip beverage. Only to be caught several blocks later by a bike messenger who resembled Kevin Bacon in Quicksilver.

While I hated the guy, I'll cut him some slack on the cyclist thing. I think that was the brain tumor talking.
