Like Michael Chiklis is the worst thing about the FF movies.

Batman is unique among superheroes in that you can put him into reel, believable situations. while it had a few minor flaws, the Dark Knight was superb, especially if you were lucky enough to see it in IMAX.

The Dark Knight was perfect (save two things, The Joker leaving the penthouse, and sometimes Batman's voice was hard to understand).

I am sure there are many people we all would love to show the Joker's magic trick too - ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

With a series featuring the acting skills of Jessica Alba and directed by the same guy who brought us "Taxi" starring Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah, that is saying something.

I agree. For a movie that exceeded 2 1/2 hours, it would have been nice for the director to spend a minute or two showing the Joker leaving the Penthouse. That abrupt transition made no sense.

However, I agree that Heath Ledger is Oscar-worthy. I especially like this scene, where you understand the complex, adversarial relationship the Joker has with the Batman....

I love how neo-con types are praising the movie as an endorsement of Bush's policies toward terrorists. Apparently they didn't watch the last 20 minutes of the movie (Harvey Dent's transformation into evil, for one as well as Joker's rationale for why a beating from Batman wouldn't result in the desired information). I think the movie does an excellent job of raising some of the issues our society is wrestling with. But if the Bushie pundits think raising these issues are the same as endorsing Bush's policy, they obviously didn't really pay attention to the movie.
