I heard on wtop that there is going to be new trial for Huguely. This is clearly a case of someone with a lot of money who thinks they can buy freedom. I hope I was mistaken because I feel even though he may not have intended to kill anytime you strike another human being much less a female you are negligent. Prison must be hell for him due to his upbringing but too bad. He is at keen mountain correctional facility which is known to be protective custody ie. snitches,child molestors, and wimps like Huguely.

They are in the appeal process which takes time. His atty must present evidence that there was gross misconduct on the state prosecutor. This appeal process will take place in Richmond with the states legislators. My opinion as an atty is his atty is trying to bleed as much money as possible from the Huguelys. I dont think he will get new trial.

Interesting, Virginia has a Court of Appeals which as jurisdiction over circuit court cases. Cases from that court can be appealed to the State Supreme Court.

Looks like Georgie boy is going to get a new trial. Spoke to some high powered guys down in Richmond and they are saying there were errors in the case regarding some of the judges decisions. Huguely's was sick and they let the trial resume instead of taking a break. Also regarding the 30 million civil suit filed by Loves mother was not revealed at trial. Get ready folks for a new expensive trial.

Just found out George's Lawers are filing multi million lawsuit against VA Dept of Corrections due to being violated at Keen Mountain state prison. Guards do their best to protect inmates but rapes can occur at any time behind closed doors. Prison is prison and will always be an unpleasent experience for the weak.

Keen Mountain is a very secure facility for the inmates. Nobody gets assraped there. They do a ton of silk-screen printing for state, county and local governments including many school systems, tee shirts mostly. On Sundays there is no work unless you are on kitchen duty and they have a brunch that includes bacon so everyone looks forward to that. After lunch its Nascar and/or Football on TV.

the Hugeus is getting a new trial. It's pretty much a done deal if the Huguelys decide to move forward. It will be moved to the Tidewater area. Right now his family is deciding whether to ride out the next 20 years and have him out when he's around 40 or risk a longer sentence at a new trial.

George must have really fucked up because he just got transferred to Red Onion Supermax. Just goes to show that even in a place like River North he can't stay out of trouble. Keene Mountain is a country club compared to the onion. I got charged with escape when I was on roadwork gang because I slipped away to smoke a joint. They sent me to the onion for the escape charge and I did my time in PC. If George has a brain in his head he will opt for protective custody as well.
There are guys at red onion who have daughters and many of those guys have nothing to lose. In PC you are in a small cell with a tiny television and a limited amount of books and magazines and you eat in your cell. Bad part about PC is that you can lose your mind in there after a few years.

Red Onion has the largest protective custody unit in Virginia. He may be getting brutalized by other inmates and the guards at River North can not keep him safe. River North does not have protective custody unit. They have the hole and segregation for inmates who commit infractions while there. Huguely probably requested a transfer to a "safe house'.
I looked up George Mills who was a great college wrestler and he is also at Red Onion. He didnt kill anybody he did statuary rape with a younger girl and then got into more trouble after first release. Tragedy because he seemed like a nice kid who does not deserve to be there. Hopefully he gets out soon. As for Huguely, he deserves to be there. He killed a young lady on purpose.
I looked up George Mills who was a great college wrestler and he is also at Red Onion. He didnt kill anybody he did statuary rape with a younger girl and then got into more trouble after first release. Tragedy because he seemed like a nice kid who does not deserve to be there. Hopefully he gets out soon. As for Huguely, he deserves to be there. He killed a young lady on purpose.

I doubt anyone would request a transfer to Red Onion. This is one of the worst roughest prisons in the country. Lee Boyd Malvo is there. The little sniper nigger. Maybe him and Huguely can get it on. They can stick a Lacrosse stick up each others asshole.

All you people are talking all this mess and dont know his situation. Little do you know Red Onion has a CADRE program which is a mini isolation prison for good inmates who can work and not get into trouble. I dont know if he is in this or he may be in with the roughnecks. Dunno. But dont assume until we find out. I did time at the CADRE unit after doing 8 years at Suusex1 and 2.

Broh, prison can be the most scary place you can ever imagine. Just the stare downs you get constantly by very large black men and white men. Everyone knows what you are in there for. He killed a young lady. Not good. People in prison have a certain code for crimes committed. Drugs or drug dealing is OK. Killing a man over argument or fight is OK. Stealing is OK. Child molesters and woman killers are in constant danger. I do think he has been assaulted physically and sexually in some way. His rich lawyers got him transferred due to this.

Oh my God! From Chevy Chase Country Club to Red Onion! I actually spent time with the Huguely's a few years ago and went to a sunday brunch at the country club. Phenominal food! Eggs benedict, chipped beef, salmon, shrimp, lobster etc. Now he is at this shithole! He was a good guy most of the time exept when he got really drunk he turned into a maniac. I think he juiced up before his senior season to get bigger. Steroids and alcohol are a dangerous combination. This should be a lesson to youngsters that nobody is above the law.
