Posing as "Citizens Against Senseless Violence," we visit the homes of journalists working for Westchester Journal News, MSNBC, and the Star-Ledger. We also visited the home of Eric Holder. None will take our signs that say "THIS HOME IS PROUDLY GUN FREE."

Since these reporters and editors did not consider it a violation of the privacy and safety of others to reveal which homes have guns and which homes don't, we went to see which of them would be willing to put a sign up publicly declaring their homes to be gun-free zones. While we didn't find any members of the media with the strength of their convictions, we did find quite a few guns, and some good explanations for why they might be necessary..... Guns for Me, but not for Thee.

Popeye69 is right. The only way to stop a gun grab peacefully is if the enforcers don't enforce. Kind of like the way the Government turns a blind eye to the illigals pouring threw our borders?

Sometime after 911, there was a study that showed about 50% of cops and a little more than 1/3 of active duty military would refuse to take part in gun confiscation in the US. But there's still enough that would to do it if the government wants to. Look at Waco and Ruby Ridge if you want to know what the government will do when it wants your guns. No way to win against them in the end. Gotta vote them out (like in 1994 after Clinton's ill-advised gun ban). The 42% who didn't vote in the last election were a lot of middle class whites, conservatives and tea party types that wouldn't vote for either candidate. Perhaps a gun ban will get them motivated.

Funny who the new "soft targets" are. for example, in maryland they are getting ready to pass the same kinds of nonsense NY state is. They will force law-abiding people, the good guys, to register their sport rifles while savages in the cities kill twenty people every weekend. but they won't go door-to-door in NYC and baltimore and pg county confiscating guns, only the good citizens.

and the left calls gun owners "paranoid"... what seems more paranoid, a conservative fear of government taking guns or a liberal fear of all gun owners taking over government? The former is actually starting to happen so it doesn't even meet the definition of paranoia. The liberal view is the paranoid one.

im a cop, and i sure as hell wont go door to door taking peoples guns. im not getting killed over obama's bullshit. i will quit, and be home protecting my own house and guns from being taken from me.i think that number is way higher reference the amount of cops that would not take part in a confiscation these days.

Funny you pretend to know what you're talking about. In Iraq and Afghanistan, each household is allowed one AK-47. These are the full-auto ones, too.

dumbass.

You are a bunch of parinoid fools. Just because the tea baggers tell you the government will come and take your guns you believe it. Seriously???? Just a ploy to get you worked up and sell guns. Idiots.

Sure you are a cop, you can't even write a correct sentence. Does the caps key not work on your keyboard.

Likely the number that wouldnt or would actively resist is higher considering that admitting that could have put their careers on the line. Either way the only think we know for sure would be that it would be a civil war which may be want some people want, but anyone that thinks a sweep could occur peacefully is either fooling themselves or demonstrating just how little they know about the topic.
