What needs to be done to ensure my identity will not be revealed when using TOR?

This message was posted via TOR BUT I have some questions.

I understand their are programs that are designed to reveal your IP. For example those that use Flash Player.

Would I be safe if I clean out my cookies and temp internet files, disconnect myself from any sessions I that may be active (ie log off FB, and my real FFXU account?)

Additionally, I'm assuming Cary can still quite easily figure out who I am. Even if my IP is a tor-exit-router Anonymous Proxy. For example I am using the same maching I have used to access this site 1000's of times. Does that in and of itself give any identifiable information?
