MCCain Campaign already in dis array

We haven't even started the tough political questions and already MCcain is making excuses for his staff. You don't go on national television and start apologizing for all of your close advisers at this stage of a campaign.
Why do Republicans always nominated a throw away candidate after 8 years in office? So stupid!
What a cluster F! What was the Republican party thinking when we nominated this geezer.

It's not like they had any other better options. Ron Paul is associated with too many racists. Huckabee comes across as a less intelligent version of George W Bush. Giuliani was okay, but he campaigned like he felt he had to run for president, not that he wanted to, and almost looked relieved when he lost. Romney might have been good, but he was done in by evangelicals who would never vote for a Mormon.
Also, part of McCain's support might also stem from some buyer's remorse on the Republican side, wishing that he were nominated in 2000, so they're trying to make up for it now.
