Walmart now selling car insurance. What will be next?
Posted by: toe jam driver ()
Date: November 17, 2012 07:14AM

Walmart is selling their own insurance in Canada now and it will be available in some US states soon. If this keeps up we will all be slaves to the Walmart empire in a few decades.
How about Walmart knee replacements? Maybe Walmart abortion services or Walmart drug and alcohol rehab services? Anything those fuckers can make money on they will do it.

I hope they offer the insurance to non-standard drivers....I was pissed when AAA started offering insurance. They turned me away for being too high risk.

Health Insurance?

I'm surprised they haven't already started. It could be like kaiser Permanente. You go to their stores for the medical office (hopefully out in the garden center away from everyone else). They already have a massive pharmacy network. And they could give this health insurance to their 2.2 million employees to boot.

That's why they won't do it. If they are selling it, they'd have to offer it to their employees, too. That would mean less pennies per share to shareholders.

But I watched one of those CNBC documentaries about Costco, and I believe the CEO talked about doing that. They were busy building up their wine business, but it was on their agenda for down the road.

That the "government" is what creates a communism like state. What people dont understand is corporations are the government and have been for a long time. Wal-Mart, Amazon and Costco are your leaders and you must OBEY all to save an extra dime instead of supporting your own neighbors and community by shopping local

GAS!
Picked my kid up from UMW today for the turkey day break. Walmart in frednecksburg was selling regular gas for $3.18. I used my Walmart discover card to get my 15 cent discount. 3.03 a gallon is damn cheap!

But now I feel guilty.

Enjoy that mental image.

They do have clinics in some locations but they're run by third-party providers... for now.

People already use the Walmart parking lot as a campground so they might as well open campgrounds, motels and theme parks.

Alias is slim, trim and very attractive. Don't know how old that chic in the picture in, but body to body, doubt you'd be able to tell which one was older.

Whole lotta stupid in this thread.

Walmart has partnered with AutoInsurance.com to offer car insurance to its customers at “everyday low prices.”

The new arrangement provides an auto insurance comparison service through the AutoInsurance.com website from national insurance carriers that include Progressive, Esurance, Safeco, Travelers, and 21st Century.

In 2012 when this thread started some walmart stores were selling auto insurance. It had the walmart name but was underwritten by a big insurance company. The autoinsurance.com partnership started in May of this year.

I must have missed something.

When this tread was started there was a program whereby Walmart would compare your policy to other major players in the auto insurance game.

Nowhere does it state anywhere other than in the subject line that Walmart has or ever has had an insurance company of their own.

Apparently the stupid continues.

After reading through the comments in this thread it appears Stabitha is the only poster with a clue. And now Vexxxed has joined the club. Most of the people commenting here probably dont even know how insurance works.

NY,NY sells loans to local gov (ie, fx co va, which is how the bitch is using your name "fairfax" to get loans to put herself in a huge home, leave you for dead. NY,NY will let anyone back the loans and obama to print any ammount of money: long as it ain't theirs)
