It would be mighty patriotic of them to destroy their beloved America.

What was it they used to say whenever someone criticized Bush? "America! Love it or leave it!"

They never said that taking parts of it with us was an option. But now it is?

What patriots.

He is the poster boy for why getting tattoos on an impulse will result in nothing but remorse down the road.

At least he can make some money posing for a billboard for a tattoo removal service.

I used to think that Red State America would win a Civil War. But that was partly based on the U.S. military being the last bastion of traditional conservatism in the U.S. government.

Being a former hardcore militant Leftist activist myself, I knew the Left would be working to change that through systematic infiltration. And it appears that they've finally become successful in doing so under the Hussein regime...

It was already bad enough that the U.S. military was the torchbearer of racial integration in America and then feminism. It's now been totally ruined by homosexuality and multicurturalism.

In the past, many U.S. soldiers if ordered by the president to invade a Red State and slaughter their fellow Americans would probably refuse and even join the rebels.

Now, they've become agents of the state and would probably massacre the "Rednecks" without mercy...

Regardless, as the low-IQ taliban, Vietcong and other insurgent forces have shown, rebels with mere rifles and IEDS can actually do quite well against the overhyped U.S. military.

And don't let the toothless "Hillbilly" stereotype fool you. Red State Americans still have 100+ IQs, are relatively wealthy, highly educated and most of our soldiers come from Red State America.

Due to the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, there's millions and millions of highly trained former U.S. military members who could wage one hell of an insurgency I bet.

They're also highly armed. Just go take a look at the picture galleries over at AR15.com...

Disclaimer: I do not support Civil War nor am I part of any group or organization that does. Nor am I planning for it or any other kind of violent anti-government activity. This has merely been a theoretical excercise on my behalf.

Virginia belongs with the Red States, truly. She was hijacked this election. Last election made more sense. Most people were fed up with the GOP. Not sure what happened. I know a lot of people were shocked that VA turned blue for O'bama. Even news reporters. They were like... WTF? . Florida was no surprise, though. Lots of Mexicants and Cubanites and Miami pretty much took all the votes.

That is just as myopic as the misconception on the Right that they are the only true defenders of American values and everyone else is trying to undermine America.

The Military is an all-volunteer force comprised of people of all races, creeds, religions, sexual-orientation, and political opinions. There are hard-right, hard-left, moderate, centrists and "agnostics" who join up because they believe in this country and want to serve.

You do understand that nothing fundamental has changed, don't you? The hyperbole from both sides is purely campaign stagecraft designed to pump up their voting base and get them motivated to vote. We are still as free today as we were on 11/05/[insert whichever year you choose] and we will still be just as free 4 years from now.

People got worked up about Bush and the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act, and Guantanamo, etc etc. But when you get real and stop believing either side's propaganda machines, we're still a free country and you can pursue whatever economic, social or religious path you choose.

The military represents the will of the nation.

They wouldn't join the rebels, they wouldn't slaughter fellow Americans, and the president wouldn't ever issue such orders.

Doubtful. But it's a moot point and speculation.

Even though it's moot, there is a huge difference here: We fought insurgents overseas on land we had no stake in. If there were ever a homegrown insurgency on US soil, it would be a horrible slaughter on both sides because both sides have no place to pull back to, as both sides would have roots and a stake in defending their land.

But all the weapons systems are belong to us.

In between counseling sessions for their PTSD and physical therapy for their physical injuries, I suppose.

No doubt. But eventually they'll run out of ammo.

Good thing. Nobody should entertain thoughts of revolting against the United States. It's the french who are revolting.
