Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda: 333,000 Votes in 4 Swing States Would Have Given Mittens the Presidency
Date: November 12, 2012 11:03AM

"The final electoral college count gave President Obama a wide 332 to 206 margin over Mittens. 270 electoral college votes are needed to win the Presidency.

Mittens lost New Hampshire’s 4 electoral college votes by a margin of 40,659. Obama won with 368,529 to Romney’s 327,870.

Mittens lost Florida’s 29 electoral college votes by a margin of 73,858. Obama won with 4,236,032 to Romney's 4,162,174.

Mittens lost Ohio’s 18 electoral college votes by a margin of 103,481. Obama won with 2,697,260 to Romney’s 2,593,779

Mittens lost Virginia’s 13 electoral college votes by a margin of 115,910. Obama won with 1,905,528 to Romney’s 1,789,618.

Add the 64 electoral college votes from this switch of 333,908 votes in these four key states to Mittens' 206, remove them from Obama’s 332, and Mi defeats Obama 270 to 268."

So you're saying that Obama just barely won?

"Won" being the operative word in your sentence.

Old news.

What will you be doing for a life for the next four years?

Please. Tell us other ways that the election could have gone differently because this is super interesting and relevant. It will really help those of us who are running for president next week with our campaigns.

I don't understand why or how he lost his home state. Can someone explain that?

Mittens was born & raised in MI, Governor of MA, and has homes in CA, UT, and NH. Which would you consider as Mittens' "home state"?

Recount in the swing states and Romney wins.
This should give 3 days of posts. Personally I would accept the fact the election is over and you probably need a shower. Oh well, your 15 minutes were over at 11:18pm on 11/6/2012. I suspect you don't get out much.

Obama barely won Virginia, at least. The polls showed Mitt Romney 49% and Obama 51%. I hardlly call that a landslide victory. Hope that there's some left in the Commonwealth who aren't commies.

I was thinking of Massachusetts since he was governor there and people had a first hand view of his leadership qualities.
