why use a common format like flash when we can use a proprietary format that nobody uses?!

superfluous as it may be, flash is error-laden garbage that has trouble running properly over citrix, rendering it useless for the modern company that has multiple campuses and lots of remote users working at home and in hotels and wherever else.
if microsoft can present an option that meets my needs, I'll throw IT budget dollars away on it.
