Yep, yep.. What a storm it was.News...We are all going to die, lol. Generator, food..water..check.. Woke up this morning with nothing. Not a tree down in the yard. Have elect. Why do the news poeple hype everything up much?

I thought the same thing until I saw the images coming in from states more northern than I.

I know this town well. Mantoloking, NJ is between Pt. Pleasant Beach and Seaside Heights (made famous by Jersey Shore).

I just saw this photo from the Mantoloking Bridge and was shocked. I have attached a screen shot of Google Map View from roughly the same spot.

Wait...so all those houses are gone? The whole island is gone?


The house in the top picture looks like it's the same house that's at the corner of Herbert & Barnegat

Nothing happened at my apartment, either.

This pisses me off.

I got a couple of water bottles, just in case, but what a waste of money, and now I'm stuck with 2 H20 bottles I'll never need.

There was not one leaf blown off the one tree in my apt. complex here in Virginia.
