Hummus works good too

Kipper snacks, smoked oysters, octupus, even potted meat ( the pigs knuckles and gizzards) taste pretty good on a cracker when you have a salt craving and a beer to chase it with.

ha. I grew up with a kid from a major redneck family. his parents wouldn't give him money for school lunch. instead he would bring one of those sleeve packs of Slim Jims, it sorta looked like a pack of cigs, but it was Slim Jim's. that's all he had for lunch but at the time we were all jealous.

Of course! I know this is a throwback, but there is nothing better than cheese fondue. Haven't had it in years, but one of the best things I've ever eaten. And very easy to make.
