I am so angry with this service department!!!! I took my car in yesterday for service, this is the 3rd time I have been in there since I have owned the car- and each time service was TERRIBLE!!!! They are never fully staffed, and each time I have been in I have been told it will be 45 min, and once I ended up waiting there for 4 hrs....for an OIL CHANGE! Yesterday they actually gave me a loaner...at 7:30am, and I was told at 5:30pm it still wasnt done. They told me it was taking long because they were washing my car...well when they finally brought it out to me- it was still FILTHY! They didn't wash it at all!! Then when I got home, my keyless entry didn't work anymore...and my traction control was engaged (I never use this). Has anyone else had this problem with them????? What is the deal???

This experience with them definitely makes me want to buy from Pohanka Lexus or Acura again- their service depts ROCK and I never ever had a problem with them. They ran like a well oiled machine (no pun intended).

I had a terrible time with Moore. My DTS had a recurring overheating problem that had me in no less than 5 times; they were never able to fix it. I went to Pohanka Acura after the 5th failed attempt by Moore and purchased another Acura; great decision. The Acura is reliable and Pohanka does a good job.

I agree with you 100%...I have always owned a car from Pohanka, and their service is impeccable. I was always in and out of there in the time I said I would be...they always provided me with a loaner if I needed one, and I RARELY even needed service aside from routine maintenance. Moore Cadillac has given me such a bad taste in my mouth, I highly doubt I will buy another Caddy since this is really the only Cadillac dealer around for service :(

yeah that place really is terrible. the collision center people are a lot more helpful than the service department. the same story sticks though, took a car in had to wait almost two weeks for brakes and oil change.

I completely disagree with the negative comments about Moore Cadillac Hummer of Chantilly. I have never seen a company that does more for their customers than Moore Cadillac. Their prices are competitive with the other high end dealers in the area, believe me I price shopped. If only 4 people have something negative to say and I am sure a lot more than that have OUTSTANDING comments to say. That is why they have the TOP Customer Service Satisfaction for Cadillac and Hummer. I am sure that there is more to your stories and comments of course that is left out...

I could care less about the pricing. Their service sucks- thats all. You sound like you might work there, but thats just me.

To comment on SE comments. I am a faithful Cadillac owner, I am on my 6th Cadillac. Maybe you should have let someone at the dealer know what your problem was so they have a chance to fix it.

All I know is I smile every time I see "Moore Hummer" somewhere.

Moore Hummer service is pathetic. My power window stopped working and they wanted me to pay ome ridiculous figure like a 250 dollar service fee or something, claiming it was my fault because something got jammed in the window and it was not a malfunction. I sure as heck didn;t put anything in my window, so anyway I take it to Prince George's Hummer I believe it was, and they fixed it for me for a 75 dollar service fee. While I hated the fee, 75 is alot cheaper than 250 dollars, and thats just another example of their poor service.

I already regret getting the gas consuming machine the way prices are, but on top of that and the hefty price I paid for my Hummer, the last thing I want is crap service.

they said it was the blower motor module-- wanted to charge close to $400 for the part and service

i told them hell no. after getting some car-kwoledgeable friends to look at it, it turns out the problem was a cheap relay.

$1 at a salvage yard and i was on my merry way.

any place that immediately tries the most expensive solution (without even verifying that its the real problem first) doesnt care about their customers.

IF YOU FRIEND IS SUCH A SMART MECHANIC THAN HE WOULD KNOW THAT THAT IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THE ELD. YOUR RELAY MAY WORK FOR A LITTLE WHILE OR NOT BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THAT MOTOR. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.......

I TOOK MY ESCALLADE TO HAVE WORK DONE I WAS GIVEN AN ESTIMATE BY THE BODY SHOP MANAGER MR. FRANK HE TOLD ME THAT HE WERE REPLACING MY PARTS WITH NEW ONE THEN COME TO FIND OUT THAT HE REPAIRED MY TRUCK USING PAINT TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE NEW PARTS WAS PUT ON.MR FRANK WAS RUDE THE FIRST DAY I SHOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO HIM BUT NOW IT IS A REQUIREMENT SINCE THE INSURANCE CHECK WENT TO THEM DIRECTLY.MY TRUCK BUMPER DOES NOT LINE UP PROPERLY,THEY BUFF A SCRATCH THAT IS STILL THERE WHICH MR FRANK WAS PAID FOR TO HAVE IT PAINTED,MR FRANK SAID 3 TO 4 DAYS TO HAVE MY VEHICLE FIX IT TOOK 7 DAYS.I HAD PROBLEM WITH VIBRATION ON MY VEHICLE SINCE I PURCHASE IT EVERY TIME I TAKE IT IN THEY BALANCE MY TIRES,AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE. I DONT TRUST THIS MAN AND NOW IT MAKE ME THINK TWICE OF THIS DEALERSHIP.
