FIOS in brookfield?

So I saw mass verizon trucks on tabscott the other day and asked them if they were laying fiber. They said yes but I'm skeptical if they're laying fiber for FIOS service or just fiber trunk lines.

Either way I guess it's a good thing, except all of our streets get torn up AGAIN.

Anyone with the inside scoop?
