I run a podcast called Walking History where I visit local historic sites and discuss their history and what it's like to visit them today - I recently toured and did an episode on the First Battle of Bull Run/Manassas. I was very impressed with the condition of the battlefield, it felt like a full-immersion experience into the past.
I'd love to hear the thoughts you all have on it! I've also done episodes on other local historic sites, including The Battle of Antietam (Sharpsburg), John Brown's Raid on Harpers Ferry, and The Battle of Ball's Bluff.
