Firefighters of PWC,
Each and everyone of you should be ashamed. Bickering, squabbling, whining, uneducated, can’t think for yourselves, and just poor attitude. You joined the fire department to help someone their worst day, you say you’re professional, yet all you do is go to another county’s page and complain about personal problems and play the blame game. Civilians don’t care who responds, all they want to know is that someone is going to come out and help them. You sit high on your horse acting like it’s a throne for a king, unaware of your surroundings. That audit found problems on both sides, do not forget that. Nor all of our brothers going to Fairfax, not because the hate the schedule, but because they don’t have the balls to say the leadership in the DFR and PWC is at its absolute worst and don’t want to burn a bridge. There are bad eggs on both side, career and volunteer, always has been, always will be. Do not hate any of your fellow career or volunteer brothers and sisters, Hate the damaged and broken system and its leadership style. Call someone whatever you want to career, volunteer, professional, tic. It makes no difference, we are all firemen, paid or not. You joined to make a difference, and we are here to do the same job. Help each other, take pride in your job, do what is right, be the hero’s the citizens think you are. Don’t be sheep. Don’t be wolves. Be sheep dogs. Stop arguing, work together, train, learn from your mistakes and do your job. Make a difference for the better, it’s what you signed up for. It’s just that simple.
Best of wishes
