Can Hal Parrish win SD 29 on Nov. 3rd 2015

Hi, I'm a Manassas resident. I really like Hal Parrish and think that he has done a lot for our community. I'm confident that he will do the same as state senator. I think he will be the best person to succeed Chuck Colgan. McPike is a nobody and your typical tax and spend politician. Parrish and McPike are running in SD 29. SD 29 is over 50% black and hispanic, and Obama( the incompetent president) won 65% of the vote in the district last year. This makes me feel that Parrish can't win because of the blacks and Latinos that turn out in droves to vote for any Democratic candidate. So I'm really wondering about the possibility that Parrish could win.

My gut was right, and Jeremy McPike won. McPike got all his hispanics, blacks, and white liberals to turn out. It will be interesting to see what he'll do in Richmond. Probably can't do too much in a Republican dominated legislature.
