Went past the school around 11:30am and saw at LEAST 100 kids wandering around in front of the school. at least 10 of them were smoking. They all looked like thugs. What has happened to that school? Why doesn't the school at least make an effort to round them back up? WTF, I bet 10% of the school was standing around thugging. What is the graduation percentage over there?

It's obvious they don't care if your kid gets an education or not. Back in my day we had a police officer that would stand near the parking lot between classes to deter skipping. Of course kids would try but just having someone there prevented most of them from leaving class. Stonewall Jackson, epic fail!

This is exactly why Manassas Mall is totally useless during the week until about 3PM when people who actually have daytime jobs begin to get off work to go shopping. Prior to 3PM weekdays, the mall is overrun with Stonewall Jackson 'students' roaming the mall's corridors making shopping very uncomfortable to say the least.

Does that school have an on duty security or police officer? It's pretty obvious their parents don't care about them. If the school stepped in maybe at least of a portion of them could become adults that contribute to society rather than thug and end up in jail.

Those are students on the first shift tap hat attend New Directions Alternative Center. Stonewall has a high graduation rested and is an excellent school.

A good football team has NOTHING to do with education. Who gives a shit if you can throw a ball but can't do basic math or read. There is no future for 99.9% of athletes after HS. We need to pull our heads out of our a$$ and make sure kids have sufficient critical thinking skills.

And, they let them smoke while waiting to get back to their detention center?
