Following the controversy over Youth For Tomorrow’s Unaccompanied Minor Program, the Bristow facility that houses at-risk youth has posted off-duty police officers at it’s Linton Hall Road entrance as a precaution.

According to Prince William Police, they are not doing so at the county’s expense.

“YFT is paying for the officers to be there,” said police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok. “This is an off-duty detail not paid for by the county or department.”

While Youth for Tomorrow did not immediately return calls for comment on the issue, many speculate YFT is concerned about the strong emotions the controversy is garnering with the public and local politicians.

Tuesday, a resident contacted Bristow Beat soliciting support for promoting demonstrations in front of the facility. [Editors Note: The editorial staff refused the request.]

Youth for Tomorrow has yet to make a public statement on the issue, but sources say they will soon.

The UMP is just one of the services that Youth for Tomorrow offers for children and young adults on its campus. The organization is a non-profit founded by former Redskins coach Joe Gibbs and receives some public funds. The Unaccompanied Minor Program is supported by the Federal Department of Health and Human Services.

A representative from Prince William County said that the county does not fund the UMP program, although it does help fund other services, when YFT provides them for county residents.

Both Chairman At-Large Corey Stewart and Gainesville Supervisor Pete Candland made public statements in support of having undocumented children removed from the facility and reunited with their parents in their home countries.

Stewart told NPR Wednesday that he hopes that residents will not protest Youth for Tomorrow.

Saw two young boys across the street holding signs that said Return to Sender and waiving large American flags.

I do wonder if these kids are getting proper medical care? It's scary to think they might just send them out with infectious diseases. Obviously the govt has NO control in this matter.

The two young boys were me and my twin borther. Read the article today, and am completely outraged. Talked to a decent number of people in the community and a lot of people seem to be unaware of what is going on in their backyard.

There will be a bigger protest tomorrow. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come.

This is complete garbage. how can our federal government do nothing about this and instead be pushing illegals off all over the country in secret. More is being done behind closed doors for illegal aliens than is being done to help our sick veterans. This is beyond ridiculous!

This company has been trying to keep track of where all the kids are going and it's pretty hush hush everywhere. The govt is telling people to keep their mouths shut.

Reports are saying 2/3 have already had their paperwork approved for asylum.

Wasn't there a low flying helicopter flying over Bristow/Gainesville with it's search light on last month? InsideNova said it wasn't a local helicopter but rather the FEDS but InsideNova couldn't get an explanation of what the helicopter was searching for. Wondering if there was perhaps an escapee from the facility and they needed to keep it hush-hush.

This is actually a kidnapping case against the goobermint thugs. They all need to be hauled to jail and the kidnapped kids returned to their parents south/east/west/of the borders where they came from. All kidnappers need to be impeached/fired/their passports collected and they should be given a one way plane trip to the country of choice, where maybe some of their gang co-conspirators will adopt them for work in the sugar plantations.

Those kids are going to be used as sacrifices for the Mason's and Bilderburgs at Bohemian Grove.
