I work for a company that is really treated me poorly. I dont plan on going into details here. What is the best way to scare them so they will think twice about pushing me around? I have exercised restraint up to this point but its tiem for the gloves to come off. Of course, it would have to be legal.
I know Virginia is a "right to work" state so they could fire me at anytime. However, just once I would like to stand up for myself. Yes, I spoke to the management and, like most companies, they will do nothing.

[assuming this isn't just a troll post...]

Sometimes jobs aren't ideal. You apparently have tried to make your better and have not succeeded. So, okay, find another job someplace else, then give notice to your current company.

Period.

Never try to "get back" at a company - it looks really bad for future employers.

Just leave - and leave professionally.

I hear ya. However, I am just pissed that contractors get way with having shitty management and they dont have to do anything to improve the environment.

Fuck giving notice. Get another job (easier said than done).

Btw, the phrase you're looking for is "employment at will" not "right to work".

It's a mistake commonly made by people who think they're smarter than they are.
