Local courts, cops, judges

What's the deal on PW courts, cops, and judges? Fair and impartial? Biased and corrupt? I've heard a couple wierd stories, not sure if I should move there.

Got charged with a DUI in july of 08 in PW county, dropped to a reckless with no license restrictions/suspension, 350$ fine + 400$ for asap, cant complain about PW County judges :)

Like the rest of N.VA. If you got the money you wont do no time.

btw Mike Driscoll is the best traffic atty. in PW county.

The traffic courts are not so bad. They wont lock you up for speeding. District courts a mixed bag. Do not under any circumstance wind up in circuit court unless you a) have a ton of money or b) are part of the old boy network. Someone needs to look into one judge in particular.
