Police on Tuesday charged two people with conducting a prostitution business at a Woodbridge hotel.
A New Jersey man and an Ohio woman were arrested around 1 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express on Telegraph Road near Potomac Mills mall.
A police officer had stopped to investigate a suspicious person sitting on a bench in the hotel’s parking lot.
The officer learned the man was soliciting sexual services from a 22-year-old woman, who was upstairs inside a hotel room, Prince William County police spokeswoman Erika Hernandez said.
Antoine Robinson, 35, of Galloway, N.J., was charged with pandering, she said.
Raytesheia Marie Haynes, 22, of Toledo, Ohio, was charged with maintaining a bawdy house and prostitution, Hernandez said.
The arrest comes nearly two months after the FBI and Prince William police arrested six other people in an alleged prostitution ring at a Woodbridge hotel.
That bust was part of “Operation Cross Country II,” which aims to find children and other victims of prostitution and offer them safe harbor.
Police would not identify the hotel where the six were arrested in October.
Both Robinson and Haynes were held on a $5,000 bond and will appear in court on Feb. 9.
