I ate here a while ago with my family. The food was very bad and the service was pretty terrible.
When I complained to corporate they offered me a free meal, but I didn't want to risk eating in that restaurant again.

Too Gangsta 4 me! The "ladies" at the front had a stare down with me after I told them they were nasty for eating yogurt while serving people food. I think the one white female server was trying to serve more than drinks at the bar...she was all up on the male patrons--literally. She was trying to sit on their laps! She also talked like she was back on the block--all f*** this, and f*** that. I went in on Easter Sunday--bad idea, but wanted to get something quick before a movie. Unless you can hang with their crew, I would not recommend.

Not sure what's with me and Applebee's. Every one I have visited sucks in service and customer service. I have eaten at numerous places and this restaurant chain does not work for me. We arrives way ahead of the dinner crowd and the waiter took his time getting to us. When his section filled up, he constantly overlooked us. Maybe because we were the only blacks in his section. Needlessly to say, thumbs down. Not cool!

I went to Applebee's today and I was very disappointed by the service and the food. It was not busy and I can understand why. The waiter came by once in a while - never asked how the food was or if everything was ok. I have not been in a restaurant where the chef did not know how to make mashed potatoes. They were not just lumpy which I expected some lumps, but they were hard meaning the potatoes were not cooked. The waiter never even asked why the whole order of potatoes were still on my plate when I was finished. Don't think I'll be going back there.

We had a great server named Lauryn who was very accommodating and friendly at first. Since it's St. Patrick's day she made all our drinks green per our 8 year olds request. My skinny Mojito was delicious. Then the service really SLOWED down. It took a while for us to be able to even make our order. Then it took even longer to get our food and second round of drinks. Then even longer to get have the opportunity to order our dessert and get it. Then it took forever for the check and EVEN longer to have them take our card. And big surprise it took super long to have them bring back our card. All in all it was a LONG experience. Food was ok...what can I say it's Applebees.

Hey Consumers,
I recently brought my family into the Applebee's restaurant in Sterling, Va and had a very disappointing experience. The bartenders obnoxious friends came into the bar, used foul language, and offended two of my family members. THE WORST PART...the bartender did nothing and the manager ignored us. This level of service is never acceptable and I hope you reconsider your other dining options before going to this Applebee's. I cannot speak for the dining rooms or servers at this location, but I can tell you that the poor bar service, disrespectful clientele, and inattentive management are enough to dissuade me from ever returning again.
