The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office arrested a 19-year-old Sterling man after he allegedly robbed a man of cash and prescription drugs.

The victim reported the assault to a community resource deputy in Sterling around 9 p.m. Wednesday. He said the suspect, whom he identified as Tanade A. Warsame, displayed a knife and took the items. The robbery happened near the intersection of North Alder Avenue and Beech Road.

Warsame was charged with robbery and abduction and was being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
