I forgot to publish this link yesterday after reading the articles about problems with dogs causing disturbances in the county.

The Animal Shelter lobby opens at 10:00am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday for services such as: reclaiming of stray pets, dog license sales, surrendering of pets, and other business. Animals available for adoption may not be viewed outside of the above adoption hours.

Owners wishing to reclaim stray pets can do so on Thursdays and Fridays by appointment. Please call 703-777-0406 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday to make an appointment.

Animal Control Services
Phone lines (703-777-0406, 540-882-3211) will be open for animal control services and general inquiries during the following hours:

Monday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

***Emergency animal control assistance is available outside of these hours by calling the Loudoun County Sheriff's Department at 703-777-0445. Emergency animal control services are limited to those serious situations where humans are threatened by domestic or wild animals, or where domestic animals have been reported to be cruelly treated, sick or injured.
