Looking for a gas line contractor

Just like the other thread, this is all part of my attempt to make my newly-purchased back yard less shitty.

There's a ~30-year-old gas grill in the back yard with a gas line going to it from the house. It's a piece of shit. I want to get the line capped off & terminated safely at the house - I can do the digging to physically remove the pipe.

Anybody have any suggestions for plumbers/gas line guys/HVAC guys that could do something like this for me? The Washington Gas folks looked at it and said it was a residential beautification issue or some other officialese BS so they could not/would not do it.
