Freezing cold medical building lobby

One of our family members has a doctor in a medical building next to Loudoun Hospital at Lansdowne. The lobby there is always freezing cold in winter, and it was really unbearable in there this past week when we went in for the doctor's appointment. Why doesn't the hospital put some heat in there, especially in flu season? People could get really sick in such conditions. The building is at 44035 Riverside Parkway.

I've noticed they are always cold. It probably helps to slow metabolism and also reduce bacterial growth.

No one gets the flu from the cold. Its the other way around.

The building is occupied by Labcorp, a big medical laboratory center. /they probably have to cool the entire building to keep the lab temps down. It keeps down germs from multiplying easily.
I have noticed it to be ultra cold in most medical offices nowadays--I hate to go to the doctor and strip down to a gown because it is usually a freezing 15 or so minute wait before the Dr. pops in to see you, and I hate the cold!
