BOHICA!
Anyone who lives in Low-Down knows that our lovely municipality is pretty much engaged in any kind of shyster money grab it can drum up. The latest is ambulance fees. Your ass is already going to the hospital (Bend Over...) to have some kind of medical emergency resolved (Here it comes...) and on top of your bill, there's gonna be another fucking bill. (AGAIN!) Anyone who's dealt with insurance knows that nothing's for free, and to me it's a no brainer that the cost is going to be passed on to you after being billed to them initially.
The worst part is the county is completely complacent with it. Because it's by and large a straight up greedy assed thing to do, like dropping speed limits from 55 to 25 to get those big wet ticket fees.
Get involved. Get mad. Someone do something, dammit.
