Sheriff's Office Seeks Man Wanted For Child's Sexual Assault

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to help locate a suspect wanted for sexually assaulting a child.
According to the sheriff's office, Lorenzo Benitez, 62, allegedly assaulted the 5-year-old child in August at a Sterling Park residence where he was living with the child and her family. Benitez resided at the family's home for several months prior to the assault. The location of the residence is not being released to help protect the identity of the victim.
Benitez is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'1" tall and weighing around 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and curly black hair. Benitez has no fixed address, but according to the sheriff's office he does have connections to the Leesburg area. Warrants have been obtained for Benitez for aggravated sexually batter and assault and battery.
