Thieves Hit Lovettsville Thrift Store Twice

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office is investigating two burglaries at a Lovettsville store.

During the overnight hours of Saturday, Aug. 20, and Sunday, Aug. 21, someone forced entry into the Thrifty Sisters Treasures store located on South Loudoun Street in Lovettsville. Once inside they removed jewelry, cash and other merchandise.

The store was broken into again during the overnight hours of Wednesday, Aug. 24 and Thursday, Aug. 25. Clothing, DVDs and a small amount of change were removed during that incident.

Anyone with information about either of the incidents is asked to contact Investigator K. Tucker of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division by calling 703-777-0475 or by emailing crimeinfo@loudoun.gov. Callers wishing to remain anonymous are asked to call Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919.

A cash reward up to $1,000 is being offered if the information provided leads to an arrest and indictment.
