Ninth Annual Townwide Tag Sale in Purcellville October 8-9

Registration is underway at www.townwidetagsale.com; but don't worry, you still have a few weeks to prepare either to be a seller or shop until you drop. This annual fall classic is set for October 8-9 this year. Saturday is the biggest day with everything starting at 8am. Each year there are well over a 100 sales at homes, businesses and in the popular vendors lots centered on Purcellville's Town Hall on Main Street.
Residents can register their home addresses, and this year you can register a group or block sale, too. The group registration provides for a unique listing and special icon on the Sale Map to ensure shoppers come to you right away. Organizations and businesses are encouraged to open their doors as well and register to ensure they are prominently listed. To ensure a spot on the Sale Map, the top tool of shoppers to find the sale locations, you must have your registration turned in or completed on-line no later than September 23.
This year shoppers can register as well and enjoy special notices, insider information on sale locations and even local merchant specials and discounts. In addition to the Tag Sale, Everyday Elegance at 600 East Main Street is host to dozens of vendors at the Antique Flea Market running Friday – Sunday the same weekend. Maps, the popular trolley shuttle and helpful volunteers will help you find your way to all the shopping opportunities. Mark your calendars and plan to attend one of the best events in Loudoun County each year.
There are still several opportunities to be a sponsor for this year's Tag Sale. If you or your business would like year-round promotion and affiliation with this major regional event, you can contact Steve at tagsaleguru@yahoo.com and request more information. Sponsorships start as low as $25 and all include listing in official Tag Sale publications and media.
The Tag Sale Team continues to sign up volunteers to welcome visitors, answer questions, assist in directing vendors and assist in publicity. Most positions require only a two-hour time commitment and are a great opportunity for high school students and scout groups.
