South Riding round-about.

They are building the new round-about at Poland and Edgewater St now. Drive carefully. What are the rules we need to know about a roundabout?

NoVa drivers cannot even process proper procedure for 4-way stop signs. Recent introduction of roundabouts in the U.S. is a danger zone for inexperienced drivers unless they are familiar with the similar (circles) in NJ, MA etc.

Roundabout practice for SR residents can be had at the existing roundabout on Rt 50 near Gilbert's Corner.

Here's a video link tutorial that no one will watch. Better to take the longer route and avoid any of the confused drivers in a roundabout.

So far, I have seen three people driving in the circle using it incorrectly. If you are inside the circle, you have the right of way. Don't stop when inside the circle to let others in.
