Managing Your Household Money Workshop Scheduled for July 14, 19 & 21
A three-part workshop to help people become better managers of their money will be offered at the Douglass Community Center, 405 East Market Street in Leesburg, July 14, 19, and 21, 2011.
The “Managing Your Household Money” workshop, presented by the Loudoun County Extension Office’s Volunteer Financial Council and Partners Achieving Self-Sufficiency (PASS), is designed to help participants:
Get the basics of balancing and income and expenses
Recognize and avoid pitfalls
Examine spending habits and direct them toward economic sustainability
Design spending plans for gaining control over incoming & outgoing money
Identify where to seek assistance
Work with family members to encourage a common mission
Each session runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. The workshop is free. Child care will be available. Space is limited to 20 participants. To register, contact Sharon Lloyd-O’Connor of the Loudoun County Department of Family Services, 703-771-5360.
