Loudoun County Hosts Virginia Secretary of Health and Human Resources

More than two dozen representatives of Loudoun County government agencies, advisory boards and non-profit organizations met with Virginia Secretary of Health and Human Resources Bill Hazel on Monday in a “mini-summit” devoted to health and social services issues.
The question-and-answer session was held at Rust Library in Leesburg. Those in attendance included Leesburg District Supervisor Kelly Burk; Deputy County Administrator Candy deButts; Department of Family Services Director Ellen Grunewald; Department of Health Director Dr. David Goodfriend; Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse & Developmental Services Director Tom Maynard; and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court Service Unit Director Mark Crowley as well as staffers from various Loudoun County departments, advisory boards, and non-profit groups.
