On Wednesday 8/7/2013 between 0130 and 0145 hours, two youths were seen on foot walking through Ashburn Village looking into cars, opening car doors and rummaging around inside wherever owners had left their car doors unlocked.
One individual (white male) had medium length (nearly to shoulders) straight unkempt dark hair, dark colored baggy clothing, appeared to be in late teens, thin build, 5' 8 to 5'10" tall;
The other one (thin white male) appeared to be in middle to late teens, 5'5" to 5'8", dark clothing, had long unkempt curly hair tied back into a long frizzy ponytail, and carried on his back a black squarish bookbag type backpack. They were seen walking north, each one walking down each side of Ferncliff Terrace checking out each of the parked cars, and opening car doors when these were found to be left unlocked. When confronted, they ran like Olympians toward the north end of the community and disappeared.
Keep an eye out for these individuals walking around late at night in Ashburn and if seen, notify police so they can get a chance to observe them.
