Loudoun :  Fairfax Underground fairfax underground logo
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Highest Median Household Income

Loudoun County's median household income was $119,134. Fairfax County' s MHI was $105,797.

Given the difference, why must Loudouners go "slumming" on Fairfax Underground? Once Loudoun County Underground is active, only then will Loudoun residents feel like the landed elite that they think they are.

(Duh! Route 7 is kept intentionally narrow...how else to better annoy those fru-fru fancies and keep them out of Fairfax County?!?)

Loudoun County Underground? Where art thou? Yoo-hoo...??

The ones in Loudoun lacking the "highest median incomes" (ie., the houses with 20-30 tenants in them at a time) are hanging out on Fairfax Underground! (Much more interesting and exciting than tipping cows and horses west of the Leesburg perimeter!
Those in Loudoun County who are rich don't hang out on Loudoun underground--if they have that much money, they can actually BUY their personal entertainment elsewhere!

oOPS! Route 7 is actually kept intentionally narrow because the Northwestern Fairfax County "Fru-Frus" are trying to keep THEIR SECLUDED landed gentry estates free from "Levittown" type developments and developers.lOUDOUN cOUNTY is now being invaded instead of Fairfax by these greedy "Levittown" type developer locusts. They had to skip over Northern Fairfax because those landowners have enough pride in their surroundings and the sense to work together to keep them out. And, they are apparently rich enough that they don't need the developers' under the table "payola" to grease the skids for destruction of a pristine environment.

The e.t.a. to get from Leesburg to 28 in rush hour many times rivals the amount of time it once took to try to get through and past the mixing bowl down around 495. Eight years ago it used to take me just a few minutes from Leesburg to Route 28 and never more than 40 minutes to get to McLean, and traffic used to fly along at full speed the whole way. Now everyone who refuses to use the Greenway (due to the extortionist owners high tolls) now jumps onto to Rt 7, which is the only other option east. Why doesn't delGaudio or someone in the govt of Loudoun do something for their constituencies and start a revolt against the high Greenway fees! Spending fortunes 3-laning Route 7 would not be necessary if the tolls on the Greenway and the Airport toll road were kept low enough to achieve fullest and fastest use there, (supposing they can also keep the toll booth operators from siphoning off the contents of the till to boot)!

The state is crying about the toll prices. But as I understand it the Virginia State Corporation Commission authorizes the pirvate extortionist to raise the rate so high. Do I smeil a kickback scandal????? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
