Tomorrow Evening!
The South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce will host its 2013 Summer General Membership Meeting Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Glory Days Restaurant, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The meeting will start at 6:00 PM with a social hour to mix with other Chamber members and guests, followed by a presentation by a representative of our meeting sponsor, Inova HealthPlex – Lorton. The meeting will conclude with a discussion on the the future of Lorton, the Lorton Arts Center, and possibly big changes to the Lorton area. Complimentary light snacks and cash bar will be available.

Topic: South Fairfax Chamber Meeting at Glory Day Grill at Lorton
Here are couple of photos of this place. It's looks like a great place
for this special event for professionals and business located in Lorton Area.
I found two photos from the Lorton Patch of this particular Glory Day Grill (we have one here at Merrifield Vienna also that gets pretty field in the evenings with music playing).
If anyone plan to attend this event or the next event, please let us know so we can begin to connect "Grill to Grill" Events on Community Vitality Issues Virtual teaming issues.

The next South Fairfax Chamber General Membership meeting will be planned for the Fall likely in September. There will also be a breakfast in October. Please visit our website to join with our NEW! Lifetime Chamber Membership. Since we are the first virtual chamber in the USA our costs of operation are low since we have no staff or physical location.

I think "life time" memberships are good for people who have a real commitment to the South Fairfax communities such as professionals and also for businesses who serve South Fairfax community such as at Lorton Station and Gunston Plaza.
Perhaps as memberships increase at South Fairfax Chamber, yearly members would convert to Life Members as logical to do.
But South Fairfax Chamber and residents of South Fairfax community such as at the Lorton, Gunston, and other neighborhoods I hope can be linked here for conversation on strengthening education and technology based innovators and entrepreneurs here in this forum as we go ?
Question: How do we reach out to more parents, retired people, to consider the value of stornger education support via connecting school based organizations and the Chamber people ?
Here is one education support organization I found at South Fairfax that I love to see brought into this Lorton/Fairfax Commuinty Forum here.
Anyone know is a member of this South Chamber School Boosters Group called
